Holsters Molded Around the Gun and the Light Together
A weapon light changes the shape of your pistol, so a standard holster will not take it. These holsters are molded around the specific pistol and light combination, which means the light indexes the same way every draw and nothing rattles on the belt. If you run a light on your carry gun or your nightstand gun, this is the category you need. Match both halves of the pairing before you order, because the light model matters as much as the pistol.
Construction is the same US Kydex used across the range, with the Posi-Click Audible Retention Lock System so you hear the pistol seat, and an adjustable retention screw for setting draw tension. Models are offered in IWB, OWB and OMNI convertible configurations depending on the pairing. Every one is covered by the Unlimited GRIT Lifetime Warranty.
Match Your Pistol and Light
For a full-size duty setup, the Glock 17 with SureFire X300 carries outside the waistband. On the compact side, the P365-XMacro with TLR-7A and the P365-XMacro with TLR-7 Sub both ride inside the waistband for concealment. If you want one rig that switches between carry positions, the OMNI Glock holster with TLR-1 ships with both attachments. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a regular holster with a weapon light?
No. A holster molded for a bare pistol has no cavity for the light, so the gun will not seat and the trigger guard may not be fully covered. That last point is the reason this is not a matter of preference. A light bearing holster is molded around the pistol and the light as one shape, so the trigger stays enclosed and the retention point still engages correctly. Order the model that names both your pistol and your exact light.
Does the holster retain on the light or on the pistol?
On both. The Kydex is formed around the combined profile, so the shell indexes on the light body while the Posi-Click Audible Retention Lock System engages the pistol. That combination is what keeps the gun stable when you move. You can fine-tune it with the adjustable retention screw. Work with an unloaded firearm, confirm the chamber is clear, then adjust in small increments and test the draw between turns.
Will a TLR-7A holster fit a TLR-7 Sub?
No. Despite the shared model family, the TLR-7A and the TLR-7 Sub have different body dimensions and mounting geometry, so each needs its own holster. The same applies across brands: a SureFire X300 holster will not accept a Streamlight TLR-1 even though both are full-size weapon lights. Check the exact light model printed on your unit and match it to the holster listing rather than assuming compatibility within a product line.
Can I conceal a light bearing holster?
Yes, with the right configuration. A weapon light adds length below the trigger guard rather than width, so the printing penalty is smaller than most people expect. Choose an IWB or AIWB model, use a rigid gun belt to control sag, and pick a compact light on a compact pistol if deep concealment is the priority. Our
OMNI holsters include a modular claw that rotates the grip inward, which does most of the work.
